Friends of FATE:

As you are no doubt aware, over the course of several months since acquiring the FATE trademark, we have encountered a number of issues of infringement by several parties, including by an outside private company.

We are working diligently to resolve these issues, though, as of this writing, a number of issues remain unresolved, despite the diligent attention of our General Counsel, Attorney Anthony Procaccio.

These violations are quite significant in nature and carry significant civil penalties. Counsel has been working diligently to ensure that these matters are resolved expeditiously and do not impact the FATE brand moving forward.

At this time, it has been decided that we will pursue legal action against at least one of several trademark violators.  We are hopeful that this matter can be resolved amicably in due course, but are not ruling out the need for further and more prolonged legal intervention, should the infringement of our trademarks continue.

It has come to our attention that subscribers are having ongoing issues with regard to the print magazine.  It is a matter that, as of this writing, is out of our control, however, it is a matter that our legal counsel is working to address.

If you are having ongoing issues with regard to the print magazine, please direct your concerns to our legal counsel, Anthony Procaccio, via email at: Legal@counterbalancegroup.com.   If you can include a brief statement, along with your contact information (ideally, address, email, and/or phone), along with any additional information, such as documentation of a cancelled check, receipt, etc., it would be helpful.  We would like to have as much information as is reasonably possible, in order to proceed to the best of our ability.
